From The Old You To The New You

You are continually evolving.
We are all continually evolving. 

The one constant in life is that we are always changing.
Exploring new ways of being. 

The question I'd like to pose today is:
What do you want the next version of you to feel like?
To look like? 

It's up to you how you want to evolve. 

Do you want to grow in ways that make you feel more empowered & vibrant?  (as opposed to the opposite)

The choices that you make for yourself each day determine the direction of your evolution. 

Since you are in a constant state of change anyway, why not be as intentional as you can with how you are changing? 

If you know me at all,  you know that I like to keep things as simple as possible. 

We've got enough to feel overwhelmed about in life.
When it comes to personal growth, I've found that the more simple we keep it, the more progress we can make. 

Below is a journaling practice that I created this week for myself, which brought a lot of clarity for me.
I'd encourage you to use this as a check-in for yourself. 

Find some clarity for yourself around the following questions: 

(Journal them out, talk them out with someone close to you, or spend some time in meditation with them.)

  • What is your vision for the next version of you? What do you want it to look like? To feel like? How do you want to be living?
    • You could also approach this with the questions: What do I want more of? What do I want less of? 
  • What will need to happen for this vision to come to fruition? What steps do you need to take? 
  • Of those steps, which ONE would make the biggest difference for you? (start there) When exactly will I focus on this and how? (schedule/plan)

Start somewhere. 
Start where it would make the biggest positive difference for you. 

Start Small.
Don't overwhelm yourself. Transformation does not need to happen all at once. In fact, it never does. 
Make steps achievable so that you keep moving forward & build self-trust in following through.

Start Now. 
Get started with one action step today. Continue the path of the next step and the next step and the next. 

In ways, it can feel pretty easy to just coast along and see what happens next for you in life. In the long run, being more intentional with how you move forward is what creates a sustainable feeling of ease.
